Went in Saturday afternoon for the first time with 5 other girls for a coffee.
The drink menu was on the black board at the front wall and all small coffees are priced at $3.80.
When we finished our coffees, we were told that the coffee price is actually $4.00. We questioned the wait staff with tattooed on his arms, and his answer was that the price was changed since yesterday as the milk man put up the milk price for additional $0.20.
What we couldnt understand why they still keep the old pricing (?) on the wall when it was just written by a chalk it is so easy to correct the prices??
Or is the price varied depending on who the customer is?
Weve got all Asian appearances and were talking each other in a foreign language at this cafe so we might have looked like a group of overseas tourist.
If they clearly showed the pricing on the menu, they shouldnt charge to us differently.
It is unfair and confusing.
