Located just a short drive north from the CBD of Melbourne, Seymour is a growing country township. With many attributes such as regular train transport and the Hume Hwy just to its outskirts, Seymour is also home to the Goulburn River. Aramintas Tea Rooms offers a range of Teas and Coffee, Breakfasts and light lunch menu's, as well as home cooked fresh scones, cakes and slices, and are all made on site. The Building is also of significant history, being built in the late 1800's. It has been conserved maintaining its heritage and uniqueness, with a touch of modern and old style furniture to accomodate families. A real place to meet and relax in comfort, or a place to come and read a book over a coffee and cake. Open from 7:00am Thurs-Mon.'Details

What a disappointment. Usually if you pull off the highway to a country cafe you can expect fresh scones and real cream. Maybe not. I would have preferred a cold scone to one overheated in the microwave!
Lovely food, great coffee and outstanding staff. Definitely worth a visit. Walking distance from our motel we found the young staff members engaging and professional. Our meals were well presented and delicious
If you have a sweet tooth then you will have plenty of choice with all of the cakes. Besides that the menu is limited and quality is average.
Aramintas offers a wide selection of delicious foods, very fresh, tasty and served by very friendly staff. It is a quiet café.
Great place for breakfast. A must to visit when in Seymour. Friendly staff, clean and warm .Try the home baked cakes and slices.
Whilst travelling we visited café today for coffee & cake. Nice flavoursome coffee (cappucinno) and tasty cakes/slices which are homemade on the premises. Hot meals also available. Good service provided and staff polite and very friendly.
