Walking into this charming cafe and I must admit I was feeling pretty positive. The atmosphere was nice and the old building with its exposed brick wall and intricate ceiling had me feeling positive.Unfortunately, that’s about where the positive ended for me. I was only in Seymour for a short time so decided to get a small takeaway flat white and an apricot and almond slice. The coffee was just too weak and watery for my liking. For the price I paid I would expect a great coffee regardless of whether it’s take away or to have there. Maybe my expectations for take away coffee are too high. The slice was the redeeming factor for my rating, that and the very aesthetically pleasing look of the Cafe.Maybe I would’ve had a different experience had I chosen to have my coffee and slice there. It did look like one of the nicer cafes to stop in at while travelling through Seymour. But this Mama is still Hangry!Note: There was a kid corner with toys and books, so I’ve got a feeling they’re kid friendly 😉
