Great to see the owners back here. Â The food is genuine Indian cuisine. Â The food was absolutely delicious and tasty. Generous serves at great prices. Â We have eaten here twice since the Dalal’s returned and can highly recommend The Indian Lounge. Â We will be back again and again.
Well what a great meal all the food was fantastic however the service is a little slow. We had starters and then mains great fresh food and we can’t wait to go back, the staff are really nice what great hidden gem in Shepparton.
I not sure that the first reviewer was in the same restaurant or the husband was having a bad day.What my wife and myself had was as good as any other Indian food compared to the price range.We experience very generous server and tasty and the heat range was spot on to what was ask for.We also liked the chefs slant on standard dishes.We had the as entrée Onion Bhajis.Mains Goat Saag,Chicken Biriyani Mango lassi was a little bit wishy washy and the waitresse not on her game as she missed one of our entrées But over all good and will return
My husband was disappointed with the cleanliness of the place. The napkin that was set was dirty, the water glasses had smears on it. Food wise, it’s okay but the coconut rice was a total let down. It was just rice soaked in a bowl of coconut milk, very rich with all the coconut liquid still pooling in the bowl. Wasn’t what I was expecting at all.
