Took a day trip to Sorrento on a nice sunny Sunday and decided to get some lunch at Mr Sticksenbones. Looking in from the Main Street, the place looked lively and the outdoor look nice and inviting. Great location too.
My partner and I both went for the chook burger. As Im ordering my food at the counter, I asked if the burger came with fries. There was nothing on the menu to suggest what the burgers came with (ie; side of fries or salad). The cashier told me it comes with a side of Crisps. I then asked if there was a bowl of hot chips on the menu that I can purchase as an extra side dish, but unfortunately there wasnt.
When our burgers arrived, they looked small and came with crisps ….disappointingly from a packet too. It just didnt make sense. The chicken burgers consisted of a chicken fillet piece, tomato, avocado, rocket, mayo (hardly any) and a slice of American cheese. The burger was small in size, dry, bland and underwhelming. Overall, over priced for what it was. We left feeling pretty disappointed and dissatisfied.
