This place was just opened when we went to the south melbourne market. The staff was giving out some tasting of the cream that they use for cannoli. They have 2 sizes of cannoli, mini one is really cute! We got 5 mini ones to try for $10. Our favourite is Tiramisu flavour.
If you love cannoli you should give it a try!
The cannoli here tastes the same as their parent branch in Thomastown, which I’ve previously reviewed. So that’s great if you like their cannoli. However, as a matter of personal taste, I prefer a cannoli that has a slightly creamier rather than cheesier filling, hence the rating. The cannoli tube pastry however, was crispy and quite delicious.
ordered:
Kinder cannoli $4
ricotta and pistachio cannoli $4
chocolate cannoli $4

Came across their pop up in highpoint and was instantly drawn to the freshly filled cannolis that were filled in front of you! Their were three flavours you could choose from and if you get all three its only $12 or if you only select one its $5. Loved how crispy the cannoli shell was when we first bought it, fresh and light and that creamy filling balanced out everything. I found that the chocolate filling could’ve had a bit more of a bitter taste. The ricotta, pistachio one was definitely my favourite, the lightless and smoothness of that ricotta and then the crispy, nutty pistachios was divine. Kinder had a very strong vanilla essence to it, a lot sweeter than i thought.
At the end of the day i do prefer cannoli bar and the cannoli shop in Footscray.
service: Very kind and welcoming!!
