Prices are very reasonable for the portion size. You can get a hot meal and generous side salad for $11. Always a good range of hot foods, made fresh daily, as the salads are and seem to be.
Limiting factor here is little to no seating options, limited desert and drink options (those offered are small and pricey), and only accepts cash (which seems silly in this day and age).
Otherwise would recommend as the food is very tasty and offers exceptional value for money.

Everyone that works there is really sweet and you get a heaping portion for a bargain of a price. Really surprised this place only has a 3 rating- all my coworkers and I love it!

Omg. I can’t even begin to tell you how fantastical the salads here are. I think this place mainly caters for cafes and restaurants but during the working day will serve the business crowd for takeaway salads at lunchtimes. There is deliciousness on display particularly the cous cous salad, beetroot salad and roasted veggies. Total vegetarian salad heaven and you can get a large salad for under $10. No real area to sit and eat there’s only 1 little table and tiny bench space – it’s mainly for takeaway.
Such a great little cafe! They always have a range of fresh, delicious salads, hot food and desserts to chose from. They use high quality ingredients and they are reasonably priced for the quality that you get. Every time I’ve been in they have a different selection of foods to choose from, so it’s difficult to get bored of this place!
$6 gets you a small container, which holds up to two varieties of salad. For $9.50, a large container which you can choose up to three varieties of salad. For a mix of hot food and salad it’s $11, a hot meal on its own $13.50.
Hidden away in the corner are trays and trays of slices and biscuits, and in the fridges are beautiful cakes. Definitely a place to check out for lunch if you live/work in South Melbourne!
