The concept is easy, you start either with rice or seasonal flavoured rice. Secondly, choose protein either the default fried chicken or others if you are vegetarian. Lastly pick your sauce ranging from their spiciest sambal or the mild rendang sauce. The dishes itself are great and can be spicy but nothing too special that makes us want to keep coming back more of a once in a while or quick bite place.
Love this restaurant. Lots of varieties to make your own bowl, all the sauces & chillis are very authentic, bold flavours, spicy like it should be. Favourite is fish with sambal matah + extra enoki + extra tempeh with sambal bawang. Everything is very spot on and it is located on Clarendon Street, easy to get to!
All the dish start from $10.5 which include choice of plain rice or today special rice + choice of 1 proteins (fried chicken, tempeh, fried enoki, fish) + choice of sambal. I had the special rice, which was nasi uduk today. The rice taste really good, smell really nice as well with fried chicken completed with sambal korek; the spiciest sambal options! Which really spicy! Portion wise really filling, got lot of chicken, but a bit bland! 🙂 overall it was an enjoyable meal!
