Came here for dinner with family and ordered a few dishes to share. I liked the khao pad sappord which is the pineapple fried rice with seafood served in a pineapple shell. It looked good and it was tasty. The red curry with duck and lychee was pretty nice as well. The only thing is that when it comes out, it was warm instead of hot. Would have been a higher rating if so.
I ordered the thai milk tea and didn’t want the ice, and so they only gave me half the cup of thai milk instead of a full cup because half of it was the ice. That wasn’t too nice.

This become my quick fix in Sth Melb as they open for dinner (LOL). You can get authentic Thai favour in here., with big portion. They have a really unusual buffet option.
Other than that, the curry is a little watery to my taste.
Will come back for:
+ Tom Zap
+ Char grilled pork
Wanted something spicy for lunch and checked out GRU in South Melbourne. The space is big with lots of different sitting arrangements. We tried a variety of dishes but unfortunately for us it was hit and miss this tine. I really liked the Tom zap (spicy soup with soft bones), as it was sour, great level of heat without being over the top and the crunchy soft bones were delicious. The char grilled pork slices were also good with a smokey char flavouring. The pineapple fried rice felt a bit mushy however, and the prad gra pow (stir fried chilli beef) was just ok. Prices are on the high side for the small portions, but service was friendly and efficient. A good but not great lunch experience today.
Not a bad little place to get takeaway. I wasnt feeling very hungry so only order a Tom yum soup with tofu and veggies. It was quite nice and have lots of veggies like cauliflower, carrots, mushroom as well as more traditional ingredients like kaffir lime leaves and ginger.
Hubby had their massamam curry and said it was pretty good, I only wish they would specify it doesnt come with rice as I thought it would come with rice and had to quickly cook rice myself when I realize it wasnt provided.
