What looks like a cheap and cheerful sushi takeaway joint is not that cheap and cheerful if you order the rice dishes. The curry beef don wasn’t terrible, but it wasn’t something I would order again. The curry was slightly watered down, and it was not worth $14 for the serving size nor the quality.
On the other hand, the sushi was worth my time. The spicy tuna inside out roll generously coated in sichimi, and hold it’s shaped well when eaten. I enjoyed the simple yet delicious tamago roll too.
Pleasant and polite service. Great for when you want a quick bite before heading to South Melbourne Market or Woolies.
