Amazing breakfast! Me and one other shared the shukshuka and the menemen (excuse my spelling!) and added shujac. So yum! Decent coffee too. Everyone at the restaurant seemed to be eating gozleme so I want to go back to try that! Would return
The gozleme here, like many of the surrounding places, are made out in the corridor to attract people walking past. I found the gozleme very mediocre though – much better places for gozleme where the pastry is stretchy, thin and perfectly cooked. This gozleme was really stiff and you’ll often see pre-made ones sitting there in anticipation of someone buying, so you don’t get it absolutely fresh.
This one pales in comparison to the amazing gozleme at the Arts Centre Sunday market, or their regular store at Victoria Market.
Great menu and great location. Dips were delicious and the whiting ordered was even better-so fresh. I cant wait to return to try the rest of the menu!
Will come back for:
+ Gozleme
Love the Gozleme here. Freshly made, chewy on the inside and slightly crunchy on the outside. Great snack to munch on whilst exploring the markets! We only bought this off the snack bar, but will be back to dine in one day to try out the other menu items.
BEST MIXED GRILL EVER! The dips were amazing too!
Ive been here a couple of times in the past and had the fish that was delicious but wow the mixed grill was phenomenal!
Friendly service and great atmosphere on a nice sunny weekend.
Hands down the best cheese and spinach gozleme Ive had in Melb although my friend said it used to taste more fresh when they didnt pre-make the dough.
The pastry was so light and crispy and complimented the fillings perfectly. Will definitely return to try the mushroom & veg option.
The ladies inside the station worked non-stop on weekends to cater for the long queues.
We were lucky to get seats on the fake grass outdoors which was a lovely area for dogs as well.
Restaurant wasnt too busy, so service was quite good. I loved all the dips and flavours the food had, but its wasnt anything too amazing (didnt really give me authentic Turkish food vibes) Servings are good to share if you get a few dishes
