Excellent burger served at this place. The bun is very flavorful and beef patty is juicy and full of texture, not chewy at all. I also love their sauce used for the burger. Although the service is not overly welcoming and you need to wait a bit after order is done, but I can tell the wait is very worthwhile. My colleague had the chicken burger and was happy with it as well!
Tried their Uncle Sam. This is probably my first ever fusion burger i guess. Bacon Beef and peanut butter sauce! What a fabulous idea! Cant wait for the next time I am in the area to try out their different burgers!
Staff was nice and kind.
This place seemed fairly new so my wife and I decided to give it a try since its in our local area.
Service was friendly and very similar to most other trendy burger joints.
I ordered their Uncle Sam burger whilst my wife got the veggie burger. My burger had their shake sauce whilst my wifes burger didnt and I must say it did not suit anything that was in the burger!
A big shame as the other ingredients especially the bun were decent. We also ordered a shake which wasnt bad but not worth the $8 they charge. Their chilli beef fries was by far the standout.
I felt this place let me down as it looked so promising
Had food delivered from this place for the first time today. They have some interesting toppings on their burgers like spam (which, though unhealthy, tastes pretty good in a burger). Prices were average for burgers, and servings generous. The burger was very tall. The wrap was filled with chicken and tasted quite good. The burger brioche bun was a bit thick and dry, but not many places do great buns to be honest. Chicken was quite crispy and reasonably moist. The sweet potato fries were pretty good, a little soggy but that could have been due to the delivery. The fries look the same as those from several other burger places we’ve eaten from though, probably frozen fries from McCains? We didn’t mind them regardless.
Would consider ordering again to try out other burgers they have.
It was the start of lunch so no one there. Food came out quickly so that is good. We couldnt decide as the board has a lot of good looking burgers. It was a good chance for the cashier to be friendly and offer some help. Sadly she didnt even smile or do anything than huff. Missed opportunity Koo Koo.
Burger looked good but was not nice at all. Bread dry and old. Meat had no flavour. I had the three and felt nothing. Looked in the burger and I had 3 pieces of chilli. Maybe I missed the point. Really disappointing given they had no one else to cook for.
I wont be going back and recommend you keep looking.
The place seemed to be quite new and looked pretty clean and tidy. The hostess taking the order had slight issues in understanding my order initially, had to repeat the order a few times. The burger was packed very well and all the sauces were packed separately for avoiding a soggy burger. Had requested the chips to be well done and boy they did an excellent job of doing that. Coming to the burger itself I ordered the Koo Koo and Size C burger. In Melbournes burger space Koo Koo were just scraping through the average mark, as there was nothing to rave about them. If priced correctly they would have been a better selling point but at their current prices it seems hard to go back there. They accept Card payments and there was an hour parking around the place.
Me and my partner were impressed with the fresh ingredients, fittings/environment, cleanliness and ambience. Service at the register was not welcoming. Burgers definitely did not taste American, and definitely can be described as fusion. Peanut/satay sauces in their burgers almost had me thinking Korean food. Though it didnt fully satisfy my American taste buds, the food was above average – plus you get plastic gloves to keep your hands clean! Worth a try.
