The assorted dumplings here are above average but not the best – I’d consider eating these if I had a particular craving but wouldn’t otherwise. Many of them are cooked to order though which is great because it is always fresh, though you do have to wait for 5-10 minutes.
What I really like here are their spring rolls, in particular their seafood spring roll. A good, hefty size (2 can just about qualify for a meal), filled with fresh vegetables, prawns and chunks of seafood stick (the soft and moist kind, not the dry kind that you sometimes get). There are also different sauces available for self service, which is awesome. So much better than the ones by South Melbourne Dim Sims.
They also have some rice dishes and at the end of the day they often have boxes of these for a mere $3. If you’re looking for a really cheap meal this is great, however the taste of this isn’t great to be honest.
Overall there are some nice food items here, worth a try.
