A perfect spot for brunch/lunch on a fine weather day. It is on the corner of lovely tree-lined streets and has plenty of outdoor tables on the sidewalk and in the attached courtyard. Great for people with kids or dogs. Ive been there three times now, and the food is yet to disappoint. The menu is extensive and has plenty of gluten free options. They use GF Precinct bread which is definitely one of the better ones. The coffee is good too. Had the bacon and egg roll (GF option) this time around and it was the best Ive had. Will be back!
Finally had the chance to stop in for a coffee here. It was 9am on a Wednesday. The cafe was busy with locals but not as busy as it is on the weekend. I ordered a large coffee $4.80 great price and it was a large, please see photo. Coffee is from Padre, meduim roast and delicious. Will definitely come back to eat here and to update my review.
So much potential but the cafe layout means you can barely get to the counter to order a coffee without being bumped out of the way by other customers or staff. Loosing a table or two would seem a quick easy fix. Nice ambience and decent coffee and food.
Really good service at this cafe, another one that is located away from the hustle and bustle. Had the Pork Belly roll (special) with slaw and apple sauce, delicious. Coffee also good. Lots of outdoor space as the cafe itself is quite small. Positioned nicely on the tram line bend listening to the comforting noise that tram wheels make when turning.
We came here twice for breakfast. Both times we ordered the same thing – avocado smash; poached eggs with tomatoes and bacon. The food was good; poached eggs were done well.
Staff and service were good too. The space at the uncover backyard is just perfect for a lazy sunday.
Plenty of space for the old and the little ones.
Great find! Place was almost full when we arrived. We were told in advance food will take long but we were ok. It was worth the wait! Tried the big boys brekkie, chicken schnitzel, brioche hamburger & curry of the day with rice. They were all delightful! Service was very friendly. Only complaint is the raining leaves or something that kept falling onto out table, food despite sitting in a sheltered area – completely unavoidable but frustrating to our dining experience.
Great brekky. Their beans on toast with a perfectly poached egg was seriously good. Service friendly and prompt. Small but nice atmosphere and outside tables in a quiet street.
