Lovely pub in a nice leafy area of South Melbourne. The menu options looked great. The best is you can order all day. We arrived at 3:00 pm and meals were available. We only had drinks and affogatto. Very good. Fab band the great Billy Miller doing a fab gig. What a great night. More please. Revisited again. Ordered the chicken breast with artichokes. Very good meal.
For a small pocket of South Melbourne there arent many pubs around and the Riser usually serves up the goods for this particular area. With a restaurant area as well as a less formal bistro space, youll easily find what youre after. All the (very generously portioned) pub classics as well as some specials and beautiful cuts of meat on the menu, you cant go wrong with a traditional pub!
