We had an appointment early this morning in South Melbourne and were there for 3 1/2 hours so we were quite hungry when it eventually wrapped up. Walking back through the shopping centre we came across this place so we ordered food and coffee. It was amazing, the meatballs in tomato sauce were so soft and yummy, not those hard, over cooked meatballs that people serve and my wife had a creamy chicken breast with roast potatoes and that was really good to, the chicken was so tender, I actually had food regret and wish I had a little of both. The coffee was great and so was the service. Will definitely go back when we are in the area.
The setup is neat and trendy with cafe at one end and pasta section on the other. The pasta options look a bit pricy for the portions offered. Also, the combinations might be a bit confusing for a first timer. But the flavors are great and the service is on point. Good place for a quick lunch.

We had delicious meatballs in mouthwatering Napoli sauce, add a refreshing salad and lunch is done. Service impeccable. Did some shopping to walk off lunch, then back for afternoon coffee. Beautiful creamy latte. We will be back!

Excellent Pumpkin Ravioli at San Giusto with authentic Italian Parmesan and cooked with finesse Chef and staff are very friendly and happy to serve any dish adapted to your personal palate. Don’t miss it when you go to South Melbourne Market!
Pizza would have been nice if it was hot, sent it back the first time and got a new piece which was still not totally heated throughout. I don’t want to teach a cafe to reheat a slice of pizza so I just ate it. Crossaints and cannoli weren’t good either. Coffee was nice at least.
