My family gets fish and chips here every week and the order is pretty much always wrong in some way. Some examples include: missing fish, grilled flake instead of crumbed, missing chips, wrong salt on the chips, forgotten extras on burgers etc. but because we walk 15 minutes to get it its too annoying to go back once were home. The one time I did go back the owner tried to deny that there was any mistake (missing chips) and argued with me instead of just giving them to us. Its getting pretty frustrating as we pay for a lot of things we dont get. The food itself is good but they dont handle big orders well.

Wish I never went. The grilled fish was below average and the potato cake and chips were again not great. All the 3 guys working were rude. They took my order wrong and overcharged me. I told them but they yelled ‘look at the receipt’. When I went to pick it up I was told I ordered the fish n chip pack wrong… Tricky name to remember and all… And shrugged me off when I asked for the sauce. Long wait, everyone was barked at when their order came, even if they were standing in front of the counter! I’m a big fan of the friendly family fish n chips shop and I this was not one.
Neutral thoughts on this one. Might not be the best fish n chips in town, but certainly good enough for its price of $8! To be honest, its better than the more expensive ones Ive tried.
$4 for a big amount of chips!!!! And the taste is so good!!! This place is very underrated. And the fish, omg, dont get me started with the fish… SO GOOD.
As far as fish and chips go, I do think they a decent enough job on the food quality front.
Only problem is, service is horrible. They aren’t terribly friendly, just take your order and get going.
If I ask for extra chicken salt, then put extra chicken salt on!
Ordered one potatoe cake, the guy kept taking orders and didn’t put it on. When I asked him where it was he rudely told me it was still cooking. Which was a lie. If you can’t manage your time don’t work in food service
