This is more of a 2.5 stars. Tried the Borek here but it wasn’t very good. Taste was sort of ok but there wasn’t much filling in it; pastry made up most of the borek. My wife likes the borek at Victoria Market a lot better.
Ambience wise this store does not have dedicated seating – there is shared seating with the rest of the food hall, and at peak hours like weekend lunch times, it can take a short while to find a seat.
Pretty sad borek with relatively unfriendly service
The food:
The spicy lamb borek is overall not that good in my opinion. The pastry is nothing special, there are no layers or anything special about it. The meat filling is relatively scant. The flavour of the spicy lamb is fairly uninteresting as well; you’ll find a little bit of lamb mince, onion, chilli and that’s for the most part it.
From the look, texture, filling and flavour, nothing stands out as a good borek
