This small shop has a very attractive wall of pies and quiches on offer. We tried their truffle mushroom pie, but was quite disappointed by it. There wasn’t much of a truffle taste in the pie, but more importantly, the pie was rather ’empty’ inside. Most pies would be filled with sauce at the very least, if not the actual meat or ingredient you ordered, but half the pie we got was basically just empty space, along with some mushrooms making up the remainder of the pie. Felt pretty cheated to be honest. Therefore, as attractive as the pies look, I’m hesitant to give this place another try.
