Lemon and sugar pancake. Came here a year ago! So i think thats the correct name for the dish. The pancake is really soft and light. Not too sweet yet not too bland as well. I had 1 there and 1 for takeaway. The lemon and the sugar+ the whipped cream + the pancake balance one to the other and create a lovely taste

  • Spinning Round Horse Kick

Came to this place yesterday after dinner with my friend. He has been there for a few times, so he strongly recommended me to try the pancakes there. We ordered berry berries and monkey business, delicious, but forgot to order one extra ice cream, will do it next time

    Ordered:
Chicken Mornay Savoury Pancake: Shredded chicken breast with cheesy mornay sauce wrapped in pancakes with side salad ($17.90)
Stokers Pancake Chips: Crunchy curly chips made from our pancakes, lightly seasoned with salt & pepper and herbs ($7.50 small, $10,00 large).

    Review:
It is definitely an interesting concept. Big big fan of the stokers pancakes chips – a unique take on the classic fries without the guilt of oil seeping into your fingers.
However, I wasn’t a fan of the savory pancake. Something wasn’t quite right – whether it was too much cheese or that the chicken tasted bland – it didn’t live up to my expectations.

The lighting in the restaurant has a yellow tint and low lit lights which makes it hard to take really nice photos. Service was quite friendly though!
I would advise to go for the sweet panckes but then there is pancake parlour for that…

  • Affogato Addiction

Plenty of sweet pancakes to choose from. A small select of savoury pancakes.
Texture of pancakes are nice, filling flavour was ok.
Spinach & feta – was as expected, but nothing that exciting.
Bonus point for offering affogatos! And double bonus for having boozy affogatos at a good price.
Affogato, $5.5 + $3.5 for a shot of liquor. A great accompaniment to pancakes.

Visited a few times. Good crepes and pancakes. Old school vibes and flavours, with some diversity on the menu. Well cooked and nice flavours, but may need more if it wants to last in the area. Service was commendable.
