We came for their parma and pot night (I think its a Tuesday?). Its great value and the parma is good. Its of decent size, the chicken is tender and the chips arent bad. I wish there had been more Napoli sauce though.
Ok so given my disappointing experience on the parma last time today I opted for the eggplant parma. This was not the best idea as the eggplant was charred to the point of being burnt. Props on the deliciously salted chips but I think Ill go back to the regular in future. Oh and why isnt there a steak sandwich on the menu!
UPDATE
Its been over a year since my last visit and what happened to the cheese?? We came for a Friday team launch and the parma was devoid of toppings! Still very good quality chicken but very much lacking they tomatoey hit from the sauce

While they probably couldn’t have picked a worse name literally if they tried to think of the most awful thing ever I actually love this place for a pub meal. They also have quite a lovely rooftop bar area which I’ve spent a few afternoons lingering on after work. It’s really great for a function. I’ve had lunch twice here now, recently selecting the Parma and pot special which entitled me to a free pot which was entirely useless to me as I don’t drink beer but they kindly offered me a wine or soft drink in place of it. I have also had the salmon which was delicious but perhaps slightly over cooked (salmons always a tricky one and particularly in a place like this). But for a pub with the word ‘rat’ in their name they can certainly make a martini
