Didn’t know you get coffee this bad in Melbourne! Milk was heated to scalding temperature, once slightly cooled it was still an undrinkable curdled fiasco. The staff were friendly and well-meaning but just hopeless at taking down our coffee order. Won’t be back to try the food, which is a shame because the location makes it the perfect perching spot.

Service was lovely, theyre child friendly and the ambience is nice. Food prolly a 3 out of 5. Just average, to be honest. Cant comment on coffee or drinks, but doubt well return for the food.

Unpretentious place serving super good, no fuss food. You won’t see amazing presentation/works of art here. Lots of vegetarian options. Owner knows his stuff and provides great service. Good coffee too. Highly recommended.

Very friendly staff ! Our order was just a simple breakfast and this cafe does all the basics perfectly. We got two juices and they were absolutely delicious !

    Not good unfortunately.

The Caf looks great and what a perfect people watching spot, located just over the road from the South Melbourne Markets. That however, is as good as it gets….

Ordered a latte which arrived as a chai latte…
I then ordered the corn fritters with bacon and tomatoes. Simply awful.. Presentation was poor and the fritters had a strange gritty texture with absolutely no flavour. Safe to say only the bacon was consumed.
I left Bunyip hungry and disappointed knowing I will not be returning again.

    Shame

Wonderful, attentive and friendly service. Just called in quickly for a cold press juice and it was beautiful. Staff are friendly and very obliging.

    My God where to start.
So I thought great try the small quirky place
    Opposite sth mel market
    Bad mistake…

Guys buy some decent produce across the road

I have poached eggs on sourdough side of mushies
Obv the cheapest poss caged eggs the yolk n white virtually same colour
Mushrooms about 4 tiny champinions cut up no spice or flavour of any description.

Sour dough was in the toaster for 15 seconds max
    Coffee undrinkable

Staffed by bimbo Asian girls who cannot speak or understand English

The table opposite ordered soup and toast took 4 attempts to explain what a side of toast was…
    He gave up

Other table asked 4 times if they had a colouring pencils for a 5 year old
Then this manager come over to ask what her problem was….????

Owner sits on his computer oblivious to the obvious

    Never never again
I told the owner exactly that.
