I came here for convenience one Saturday morning because there were queues for all the other cafes. In here there was only one other couple here, so a bonuspoint was that I could easily get a seat. But there’s a reason this place was empty. The coffee was fine but the ambiance was crap. It felt like a waste of time and money being here. I felt like I was hanging out in a school canteen. I won’t be back. With so much competition around them there guys really need to up their game.
These guys obviously don’t realise that customer service is the key of any successful business. There is one girl in this place who is so disgustingly rude for no apparent reason, it’s made me change my morning coffee spot & never want to go back there again.
Never hit and miss and always well staffed, friendly and honestly dont think I have a bad thing to say about the place.Warm salad options are a draw card
I have been working in the South Melbourne area for about a year now. I have eaten here twice because I got bored of the other options. Never never never never never never never NEVER EVER buy anything hot from the bain marie. I ordered a pumpkin and feta pastry. After two bites, I noticed an odd sour taste. I started inspecting my dish and I found mold.
With lunch ruined, I was given a refund and a bottle of water.
That was around 6 months ago. I am only writing this review because I still have pictures of the moldy item on my phone.
Whenever I come here for lunch I always get the chilli chicken schnitzel sandwich +avo. The schnitzel is nicely cooked, they’re generous with the fillings and the staff are always friendly. I’m not sure why, but they’ve never charged me for the extras.
Haven’t had their cooked food but they’re great as a sandwich bar.
Great place with friendly staff. Love the pasta’s they make! Coffee great too! The chilli chicken snitzel is also worth trying. Would recommend!
As we work in the street behind Zoumi, it has been our local for lunch for the past 7 months. Staff are great, owners are legends and the wagyu beef burger is one of the best in Melbourne!
