I was so thirsty shopping up a storm at the south wharf and saw the new juice special here called ‘Green Powerhouse’. I had to have one. It was packed full of goodness like kale, cucumber, celery, apple, lemon and zucchini. It was good, I’ll definitely buy it again when at DFO.
Healthy option located in the food court. Sandwiches made to order, as well as ready made focaccias and salads. Service is quick, friendly and ingredients are very fresh. Pretty generous portions in their sandwiches too.
Appalling rude service. Received a dismal focassia didnt even toast it as requested. Chunk of avocado skin in sandwich. Sign on product says one thing staff say another. Definately wouldnt recommend.
Decent take away food court option at south wharf dfo. Fairly cheap, friendly staff at the counter. You could do a whole lot worse in the same food court.
I went to gym today, so thought of having some healthy lunch! 😉 …but what I got was a tasteless one!
I tasted veg pattie & falafel foccacio, it was all bland. Neither did it taste fresh nor delicious, and it was costly too!
However, I admire the spirit of the old staff there, they work hard and ask us of what all we need (or don’t need) in our meal.
NEGATIVE:( We had 2 regular potato spuds. Oh My Goodness, the spuds were over cooked reheated dry yuk, then it was loaded with cheese which was microwaved to an inch of it’s life which made it like eating a leather strap and the slaw was thick, topped with a carton of cream. We also got 2 drinks and it cost us $26.80. Definitely not health, expensive (could have gone to a restaurant for that) and the service is a total story again. Rude man (can’t use the word gentleman) watched by a rude little lady. I think this store will be blocked up like some of the other vendors. NOT WORTH EATING HEALTHY THERE. Save your money and go to a good cafe.
Food ok but service was rude. Very poor service on more than one occasion . Usually from the same lady. Will not be returning and will discourage my friends from visiting
