Lovely dining experience at Atlas. Atmosphere was sophisticated and comfortable and service was attentive and friendly. At the moment the cuisine is French. Our 7 course degustation consisted of house made bread with smoked butter, tuna Nioise salad, pistou soup, lamb tartare, ratatouille with confit egg yolk, coq au vin, baked Camembert and an apple and custard dessert. Everything was delicious but my favourite course was a tie between the ratatouille and the Camembert. So tasty! Next cuisine on the itinerary is Brazilian so will definitely be back!
Booked Atlas to celebrate my partners birthday, and found it to be a perfect experience. Located near Prahran Market, Atlas has a lovely open dining area, kitchen you can look into, and a courtyard. Light streamed in the day we went, illuminating the restaurant and giving it a lovely lively atmosphere. Staff were attentive and helpful, explaining each dish and chatting to us when possible and answering questions that we had.
This time Atlas is doing Brazilian, and I am so glad we got to experience their menu! It was a new cuisine for us, and what a great first experience it was. Each dish was delicious, well thought out and well balanced. Nothing was too overwhelming, but each dish had an element to it that stood out and was beautifully accompanied by the other ingredients. Would love to dine here again and try their take on more cuisines!

What an amazing concept ! The menu is a passport and the cuisine changes regularly so you are always intrigued to go back. The prices are very reasonable and the flavours of the food impeccable, service here is also top notch. Cannot wait to come back to try the next country
This is a delightful place to dine at – the service team is extremely attentive and so warm and friendly. The food – my favourite course was surprisingly, the plate of street food which was off menu. This has been a great and delicious experience and Im sure Ill be back in the future to try the next cuisine.
From the moment we stepped in, it felt like the perfect place where to enjoy a Greg night out. The ambience, the service, the background music, everything was carefully thought out. We had the 6 courses degustation menu. Gracefully presented, elegantly balanced, it was simply perfect. I rate this better than Dinner by Heston.
Atlas -absolutely in love with this restaurant. Tried it when it was french and got the 7 courses and each was very different and delicious. The blue cheese ice cream was so unique and the whole idea is so fun! Head chef Charlie is extremely talented for such a young chef!

Last night we came to Atlas in South Yarra. This restaurant rotates its menu several times a year to
focus on a different country or region and tonights cuisine was Brazilian. The interior appeared to be undergoing a renovation and my dining partner described this as mid reno chic which I thought was hilarious. There is a courtyard out back with a fire pit that we waited beside for our table to come ready.
The menu at Atlas was a set 5 courses and we received a bonus Street eats course too which was a nice surprise. They were also very good at switching out the red meat dish for Kellie and giving her a ocean trout dish instead.
Courses were small but with 6 in all we felt very contented at the end of our meal. The first course which was the crab salad served in a half crab shell and this was a beautiful start.
Second course delivered some really interesting vegetarian flavours with a blue cheese mousse served with cold smokey guava liquid which really was stunning.
Our bonus street eats course was a hands on experience and this was followed by Octopus with an cashew crumb, plantain, peppitas , pickled pumpkin balls and orange slices. This was probably our favourite dish of the night.
Our final savoury course was wagyu for me and ocean theory for Kellie. Kellies trout was super crispy and a dark rub was used. My wagyu wasnt was tender as I would have liked and has a little gristle which was disappointing. It came stuffed with a Brazilian spicy sausage. Taste wise bang on for both
Our final sweet course saw us eating a Dulce de leche which consisted of a caramel layer under a soaked pastry. This came with a passionfruit custard served in a passionfruit shell. Quite a heavy dessert but the perfect finish.
There were some great wines on the menu, some good wines by the glass and a handful of cocktails too.
A really enjoyable culinary journey to Brazil. The best thing about this venue is give them 3 months and it will be a totally different menu and dining experience.
