A small dessert parlour selling a wide range of cute desserts.

Flavours of peach melba was great. Sweet, smoothe and the biscuit added flavour to the cake. Loved the peach schnalls jelly.

The green tea was well presented but had a mix of flavours Tasty, strong and zesty.

Burch and Purchese are selling some of the best tasting cakes that Ive ever had in Melbourne. Upon walking in, we were welcomed warmly, and were lucky enough to sample their Lemon & Strawberry tart, as well as their brownie. One small bite was enough for me to know that it was already going to be one of my favourites, so much so that I ended up purchasing the Lemon & Strawberry tart.

Being my first time at this store, and having absolutely no clue on what to purchase, the staff were kind and informative with their recommendations.
With their help, I also opted for the Strawberry & Apple crumble tart and the Chocolate/Mandarin/Salted Caramel tart.
My personal favourite was the Lemon & Strawberry tart. Its got a crumbly vanilla pastry tart, with a tangy lemon curd, Strawberry cream and jelly. As you indulge in this beautiful slice of tart, its not overly sweet and you are left wanting more.
The chocolate, mandarin, salted caramel cake was decadent. Its quite rich with the mandarin and salted caramel cream, and dark chocolate mousse, however if youre a fan of chocolate orange- then youll love this cake as that is exactly what it reminds me of. Lastly, the strawberry & apple crumble tart is what I would describe has a homey taste/feel to it. Not to mention, my friends and I were so amazed by the cute design of this cake!
Cant believe its taken me this long to try Burch and Purchese. If I lived closer, I would be here all the time, but that still doesnt stop me from returning whenever I am in need of a celebration cake.
