A small fusion burger joint painted yellow.

Burgers are great with a toasted brioche bun. Meat is fresh and burger is firm. The takoyaki is well cooked and drenched in kewpie mayo and sauce.

Beer battered thick cut chips are crispy and the loaded fries are filling and flavoursome. Recommend the special curry chips which come with the carrot and raddish.

Loved the sweet potato fries that were crispy and seasoned with chicken salt.

The pulled pork taco is average, meat was kind of dry but the salads added flavour.

I wouldnt say Kung Fu Burger is bad, but it is quite average as far as burgers go. I had the vegetarian burger (Buddha Temple) and I didnt find there to be anything extraordinary about it. The sauce was good, but it was just really nice sauce drizzled over an otherwise average burger so it unfortunately didnt add the wow factor I was hoping for. I was also expecting that there would be some Asian flavour fused into the burger. Again, it was just an ordinary burger . I definitely didnt get that fusion sense. Perhaps the other burgers are better.
The chips were nice. I didnt particularly enjoy the chicken bites.
The food is affordable and the location is really nice and central (you can sit outside and watch the trams go by, which is quite pleasant). This probably isnt enough to compel me to go back though.

Good price, taste average. Had the minister chicken burger. Taste alright, nothing surprise. Salad for the burger taste… Interesting…Not sure will come back in the future

Kudos for creativity and tasty flavours for sure! Loved the Asian spin and so pleased it was spun right! Worth a trip and trial if this is your thing. Generous in serving so dont be tempted to over order.

We headed into Kung Fu burgers the other night for a cheat meal. I have heard so many great things about this burger joint especially their infusion of Asian flavours into their burger menu . We ordered the jumbo aussie rule minus one beef patty and the Gangnam style . We really liked the meat patties which were in both burgers, it was juicy and cooked perfectly, it tasted like it was also marinated . The addition of the kimchi in the gangnam style burger was genius, definitely the favourite burger out of the two

The takoyaki ( octopus balls) were generous in serving and creamy , the octopus was not fishy but not over powered by the sauces. The bruce chips was a nice take on loaded fries, the sriracha sauce gave the fries a nice chilli kick , there was a perfect amount of heat. The chicken bites were tender and crunchy at the same time, nothing to fault

    Thanks for having us!

If youre looking for a really good burger place in Melbourne you have found it at Kung Fu Burger. Burgers are super tasty! They do some pretty cool specials too (Japanese curry loaded fries-how fantastic is that!). The staff here are really friendly and if you need any variations they are only too happy to accommodate.

Their burgers are amazing and mind-blowing! Omg it’s officially one of my fav burger places in town. Staff are nice and friendly, giving you helpful suggestion to find which taste you want. We ordered a chicken burger in combo with a canned drink and chips, a soft shell crab burger, and a sweet potato chips on the house because of some reasons. The adequate flavourful mayo and the juicy tender meat made their burger stood out so much, the chicken and soft shell crab were fried to crispy which gave moisture when I bite down the burger. The yuzu and lime mayo and wasabi mayo were good to empower the taste of the burger too, and the meat became more yummy!

You need to try if you haven’t…surely cannot be missed!
