Poke On on Toorak Rd opposite South Yarra station was my introduction to the wonderful Poke – the cuisine from Hawaii. I could totally eat this every day without guilt. Fresh fish with colorful green veggies – the key to healthy living.
We love a good poke ball so we were in town on a Sunday Avo and we decided to try out this poke restaurant.
We ordered the salmon poke bowl and tbh it didnt look really appealing straight off the bat. The sauce kinda looked a bit off putting (you eat with your eyes).
There were good ingredient in the poke bowl, you got your edamame beans, salmon, peas, rice, purple cabbage, corn, carrot, seaweed salad, kale – a lot of variety however the sauce was quite average, the salmon was so fresh and tbh, it was quite expensive for what it was.
Overall, I guess if you want a quick bite, maybe check it out.
