Spicy miso ramen. It was just what I wanted. Obviously there’s tons better in Japan if compared, but it was good enough. It’s got good and relaxing music and wooden cozy atmosphere. The waitresses are nice. Maybe I’ll try another bowl of ramen next time.
Quirky new Japanese restaurant on Commercial
Street next to Prahran Market. Great fit out for a casual dinner or catch up with friends. Food was however average and I have had better. Chicken Teriyaki bowl was cold and bland but fried chicken and gyozas faired better. Hopefully this place will improve as it finds it feet.
Since visiting Japan and having the unbelieveable experiance of having flawless ramen I have been very hesitant on trying ramen here in Australia as I would prefer to avoid being disappointed but today I decided to give Suzuki a try and get the Miso Ramen!!
It was nothing I would call flawless but at the same time It did not disappoint.
Flavour, spice, noodle texture, all typical ingredients were present more bean shoots and broth would have been desirable.
Overall a combination of the service, pricing and food quality make it a good choice and I would recommend it.
