  Sophisticated restaurant with a refined decor and fine dining Italian menu. For entree we shared then tuna tartare which was fresh and tasty. Then for main I went for the lamb with eggplant and broccoli. We also ordered the side of broccolini. The lamb was great. Very tasty and not too rich. The cocktail bar put the back (the elk room) is also lovely. Would definitely recommend.

  Wonderful new Italian restaurant Spinetoli has opened up on Toorak rd. We enjoyed everything there especially the fresh housemate pasta with duck Ragu and please lets take a moment to talk about the hot chocolate pudding! I hope they never take it off the menu!

  Ps. They also have a secret bar hiding behind the restaurant!

• Good Food Good Mood

  I was invited to attend the launch party for Elk Room the new bar in Spinetoli. Entry is via the restaurant or through a seperate laneway which reveals a somewhat secret South Yarra bar. The intimate dimly lit area had a warm ambiance to it. Coupled with a well stocked bar and killer cocktail list this is going to be a great spot for a cosy evening with friends (or even date night for that matter.)

  We enjoyed the London summer a gin and rosemary creation and the Bermuda beach which was a delicious rum and pineapple concoction that tasted eerily like my twenties. Some of the canaps we sampled also form part of the new menu including the polenta chips and South Yarra mozzarella balls. An overall fabulous new addition to the restaurant and the ideal place for pre and or post dinner drinks
