For a quiet get away in the heart of south yarra, then this place is perfect.

Being the most centrally located tea house to the cbd, and fairly priced, I can recommend this over box hill anyday, except for tuesdays. The owner is friendly and eager to help people learn about how to prepare and serve tea and seems to enjoy people discovering it.

The only downside is lack of seating, not that this place has too few a tables but there is no courtyard or outdoor seating. Really it is a minor point but is the only thing that could be improved.

Also serves small nibbles but I am really here more often for tea.

My boyfriend and I visited here yesterday for the first time. We ordered the $12 white tea- it lasted over an hour shared between two people and was delicious, and because it was over $10 we got a free macaron. While we were there the very nice girl told us all about the history of Chinese tea. We had randomly wandered in because we had time to kill before a train and this place was a lovely surprise!

This place is a perfect place to have tea with friend. The owner is very friendly. He provides us free refil water. Besides that, his dog is very cute, made us laugh all the time.

It is really a perfect place to get zen in a sunny Saturday afternoon. The owner of the teahouse is a real tea master. It is even amazing for a chinese to see how he prepares the white tea for me. Reasonable price for a plot of tea and to getting to know chinese tea culture and the art of making tea!

So beautiful and warm tea house. Good place to taste real Chinese tea and to get much Chinese culture. You can get much cheap Chinese tea with good quality.

Today we went to visit this tea house and found out is is very nice. The ambiance is really nice and quiet and it reminded us of being in a Japanese Temple. The service was great, we had the rank 1 oolong tea and the taste was good. You could taste the sweetness after swallowing. Because the price was around 20 dollars we got 2 free homemade Macarons. The serving of the tea was also interesting, a small ceremony and some information about how to brew this specific tea and when it would taste the best.

I would definitely recommend it to any tea lover or if you want to enjoy a nice traditional style afternoon tea with friends.
