This place is a little hidden gem in a sea of downtown South Yarra. Be careful not to miss this on your way past to the South Yarra train station. This place is completely Vegan, however it is mostly tea and a number of dumpling options. There is an enormous range of traditional Chinese tea to choose from . The menu items allow for a single serve, but the magic is in the multiple options. Choose from $10, $15 (and up) where you get unlimited tea in one sitting for you and your friends – one price per sitting. We chose a not tier option. Our host started us off by making the first tea for us so we got the hang of how this was made – small pot, and small cups with a filter. This is the traditional Chinese way of making tea. We also ordered dumplings. Carrot as well as vegetable. There are three to choose from. All vegan. All hand made. So fresh and flavourful- especially compared with the vegan options everywhere else. Traditional music playing in the background. I recommend this for lunch at a nice quiet place, with vegan dumplings on the side.
