Really disappointing experience. The food was very bland, but I could have overlooked that if the experience was good. Unfortunately the atmosphere was terrible. The chef didn’t speak with us, look at us or engage with us at all. He kept his head down and quickly cooked the food and then served it on a plate in front of us. I had to ask for him to throw some food to get that teppanyaki experience. In response he simply tossed a bow of rice to my partner and I and then quickly packed up the grill. There was zero entertainment factor and the food was way overpriced. Don’t waste your money – there are much better teppanyaki restaurants in Melbourne.
