The caf is cute and has a lot of space when you first walk in. I had an excellent almond chai latte, with a hydration green juice. Unfortunately, the food was pretty average and pretty pricey. Although you would expect that kind of price for South Yarra. Id recommend to try the coffee and the chais but dont go out of your way to eat there!

Food:
– Green salad with steak: quite a decent portion of salad, full of zucchini, asparagus, peas and broccolini. The green dressing was refreshing, very minty and herby but it’s not overpowering. The steak was not the most tender cut but was seasoned nicely, a little on the salty side but went great with the salad.
– Green salad with fish: same salad as the one above. The fish was on the firm side which my friend really liked, tender, juicy, nicely seasoned.
– Matcha latte: ok
– Food was generally good but wow.
– One problem I had was that the food was served on a very small plate and the shape was so awkward to use with the knife and fork.
Price: ok for the quality of the food.
Service: attentive staff, didn’t have to wait for too long for the food.
Ambience: open and spacious restaurant, modern deco, seating wasn’t cramped.
Firstly, the menu we were given no way mirrored the one published here. There was just one page of brekky items, all lacking the wow factor. We both chose fritters. The egg was perfect, the fritters were okay, and could have been hotter. Average.
