Going off just the dessert, Baci needs a lot of improvement. The quality of cakes here are in the same league with cakes from Woolies or Coles except that those cakes are much cheaper. Cakes here are very heavy, extremely sweet, and lack distinguishing flavour. The Black Forest cake here was the first of its kind where I couldnt tell it was Black Forest due to it just being pure sugar and cream. The Chocolate Mouse wasnt a mouse – it was a thick block of Mud Cake, and the Ice Creams are also below average.

The only redeeming factors about Baci is that its Mixed Berry Cheesecake is edible and the service is quite friendly and accommodating.

Overall, I wouldnt come back here unless there are no other options.

Over priced cocktails. $22 is a bit much for a cocktail when you can get cocktails for $15 to $20 elsewhere. Cocktail tasted strong, so strong that I couldnt taste any peppermint which was disappointing.

Ideal for a catch up for a group of 12 people because of the large table. Its also quieter when compared to the food court so its easy to have a conversation. I wouldnt recommend going there if you have a smaller group unless you are having a tea and dessert.

I liked that there was table service.

  • Crabapples For Lunch

Had one of their cakes here that came with a drink for about $10. There was quite a selection of cakes but they look pretty much like the variety of cakes that you see in half of those generic cafes out there that are mass produced and supplied to restaurants (you know the ones, they’re usually cylindrical and small, looks and tastes decent but always slightly disappointing).

Unfortunately, it’s really nothing special and is kind of the place where you buy something just so you can sit at a table to wait for your spouse to finish their round at the casino (not speaking from personal experience.. really!).

  • Food For The Soul

Just popped in for a quick in and out breakfast. Disappointing…. for the price the quality and taste are below par. Pancakes burnt, Omelette had no flavor and the veggies in the omelette where not salted or cooked with anything… just bland, coffee came out half way through the meal and was cold and tasted like it came out of a pot not a fresh machine. All round not a great experience. Staff where friendly..
