I come to this place for one beer, I end up drinking 5 different, all delicious. The not extremly oriented in plant based food, but they did take an effort! I will highly reccomend for the varaiety of beers!
We used to come here quite regularly on Sundays for their half-price mussel pots for $14 (pictured). The ambience back then wasn’t the best, to be honest – some areas had tables arranged with awkward large spaces between them, and made the area look quite haphazard. Over time their prices increased to $16 on a Sunday, which was still alright. Then they did a renovation and brought in new furniture (which was quite cosy and pleasant), but that’s when they stopped doing their half-priced pots on Sundays. These were now $20 on Sundays instead, and they also quite drastically decreased the size of the pots. Very disappointing and we didn’t have much reason to come back since.
In terms of taste, the white wine was decent but they sometimes don’t reduce the alcohol down sufficiently. The curry flavour was good too. Mussels are often not de-bearded properly – which may not be a problem if you don’t think about it too much, but does bother me. It used to come with a big bowl of fries and a generous amount of aioli, and you can also ask for complimentary bread (not warmed though). However, since their revamp, the size of their bowl of fries also decreased dramatically.
I also occasionally order their chocolate lava cake, but that’s more so because I just like lava cakes, not because these are exceptional here.
Unfortunately, there’s not much of a reason for us to come here anymore.

Came here after work with a couple of friends while waiting for a third and was surprised by the noise and crowds but I shouldnt have been because it is the week before the week before Christmas and office Christmas parties a plenty in the city.
One thing I learned being fresh into the drinks while everyone else around me had been drinking for hours was that drink people tell the worst stories and other drunk people think those stories are hilarious. That aside we had a round of drinks but didnt order beer instead preferring G&Ts and LLBs.
Probably we arrived on a less than typical night but couldnt wait to be finished and gone when all is said.

Accessible downstairs and outside. Bathroom available
We booked on a Friday night with a group of 20 people with roughly 10 wheelchairs. We had average service due to food delay but the area we were given and the experience was lovely
Quite a loud and dim environment. But for a large crowd in the inner city on a Friday night we can’t complain
Beer selection killed it
