Place is pretty good for ice cream. Lots of flavours to choose from and they were creamy and tasty. Good location as well. Mmmm would come again especially when hot weather is coming!
I have enjoyed both ice cream and cake from Calatrava as well as everything in between from macarons to banana bread. Theres a serious range of every sweet treat you could possibly conceive available and the cabinet is so prettily presented with tempting delectables youd be hard pressed to walk past without sampling a little something. All very delicious (particularly the sticky date and lemon meringue) and with it open 24 hours it will satisfy your cravings at any time of day
I had the lime cheesecake which was far too sweet and the biscuit was dry and stale. My poor partner had the carrot cake which was SO dry he couldnt eat it. Maybe if it were served with a side of cream it would have been easier to swallow. The coffee was average but not bad hence the 2 stars.
