I always have a great time at Crinitis. It is busy but the waiters try their best to be attentive and quick. I love the steamed fish, sweet potato chips and fig salad – I order it often. The bunless burger is also tasty and very affordable if youre on a budget!
My favourite is the Nutella bomba, which is a deep fried pizza pocket, filled with Nutella. Crinitis also goes to great lengths to make your birthday special. I will continue to return as I love this place!
Great pizza! Had the 1m. Capriciosa, Margarita, Italian sausage. They were excellent! Service was good. Only thing was that it gets very noisy. I suggest go upstairs its quieter. Would go back again.
A nice Italian place in Southbank along the river. I had a pizza and a pasta.
The pizza was awesome, a great woodfire pizza with a nice amount of topics. However the pasta was not as good. It wasn’t bad but just didn’t wow me
A big Italian restaurant in Southbank along the beautiful Yarra River that enjoys the city and Crown Casino crowds. The decor is beautiful inside but its extremely busy (and noisy) on the Friday that we visited and the service was really poor. We had a booking that they couldnt find for a while and the wait staff kept giving us mixed signals (to queue outside, then come inside, then back outside). After all that, we finally got our table to find the food & drinks are pretty pricey. The waitress that eventually served us was really sweet and bubbly so that gave us some hope. She recommended the linguine frank sinatra and nonna catelina pizza which were both amazing!! (and definitely made us less grumpy).
Overall the food was certainly delicious but given the value and also the drama with service at the start we are unlikely to come back for a while.
It’s just overpriced pasta all over their menu. It tastes normal. Service was slow. But if you’re feeling hungry and you’re around Southbank, their serving portion is massive. This place is infamous for its quantity over quality.
Went here for the first time last week. Food is pretty nice, and theres a huge variety of selections. However, I feel as though theyre overpriced as the food dont deserve the prices allocated to them. I found the customer service to be good though and the food to be quite pleasant
Service was fine but the food leaves much to be desired.
My partner and I had been here before and tried the pizzas which were disappointing, but we decided to try our luck with something else..
My partner and I shared the Bolognese Nachos and the Australiana burger with chips.. Both were of good portion size, but poor quality.
The nachos had zero bolognese on it.. It was just a plate of corn chips swimming in sour cream and sauce.
The burger had some nice crispy bacon on it, but the burger lacked flavour. There was no sauce on it and the bun looked like a McDonald’s burger bun. Pretty disappointing for a $30 meal..
Overall Criniti’s has a ridiculously large menu, but they don’t seem to do any of it well. It’s incredibly overpriced and the meals are not value for money.. We will not be trying our luck here again..
