Finally got to try this place. Yes it is expensive but the whole experience was great especially the pre-dinner cocktail flight that included 3 signature drinks plus some nibbles. Dinner was great too with attentive service. The only average dish was the pork belly, its nice just not a wow dish.
What an experience! Every element of every dish was executed in perfection. Highlight for me was the venison with the cherries – absolutely loved the flavours that worked together. The staff were extremely attentive and professional.

Dinner By Heston Blumenthal was an amazing experience.
Best idea was to leave the wine choices to the sommelier. He was seriously good at his job! The Tipsy cake dessert (which takes 40mins to prepare) was definitely the highlight and the complimentary ganache infused with earl grey tea. I also loved the mini chair they supplied for my bag!
Dining at Dinner by Heston was an immaculate and superb experience. As soon as we arrived staff were attentive and welcoming, my bag even got its own chair. Every element, condiment and flavour was executed perfectly. The food was out of this world, the steak was amazing and perfectly cooked. I would highly recommend dining at this wonderful establishment.
Dinner by Heston Blumenthal is nothing short of amazing. The food is so incredibly original, creative and most importantly delicious.
The food is fine dining but between 3 courses you will be full. The meat fruit and tipsy cake are the must haves.
If you’re looking to eat somewhere special in Melbourne, let it be Dinner by Heston.
Wow so excited to try Dinner by Heston. Had heard only positive reviews. Ambiance absolutely spot on! Fantastic views and the wait staff were professional to a T. Naturally had to try their meat fruit. The pate was divine. Very rich but my fav of the night. Also ordered the Pork Belly. Funnily enough the pork belly itself was my least fav part of the dish. Immaculately presented I still found the belly slightly fatty. Also tried the famous tipsy cake. So much alcohol. So good.
Recently went to Dinner by HB for my work Christmas Team Dinner. It was nothing short of amazing. Each dish was carefully crafted to perfection and the flavours in each dish were incredible. Heston is such a genius! The highlights were definitely the Meat Fruit and Tipsy Cake. Of course, everything else was just amazing too. We were so well taken care of by the staff and overall, a truly special experience.
