Omg!!! Yum yum yum. I’ve now had a few dishes from east by west and they never disappoint. The salads and soups are flipping delicious but my favourite by far is the baguettes. I have withdrawal on the weekend without their brekky baguettes. I need you more in my life!!!
Love this place, I eat way to many of the their breakfast baguettes. Very nice coffee, excellent service, and some great lunch options too. This cafe is a new regular for me.
Seriously amazing. The coffee was the best I’ve tasted in a while. I had the breakfast baguette on one occasion and it was so well balanced with spice and herbs. Yum! Good deal too $10 for Breaky roll and coffee. I’ve also had the rice paper rolls and planned to get a baguette after (because it sounded so good and I’m a little piggy), but was too full. Bargain price of $6 rice paper rolls. The staff at the hole in the wall cafe are super friendly and whoever designs the menu knows their stuff. The food is mouth watering good! Look forward to eating and drinking coffee here again.
Really tasty food and top notch coffee! Smashed a few rice paper rolls which packed heaps of flavour and killer sauce, followed that up with a Vietnamese pulled pork baguette with the smoked meats and mustard as the tasty Western touch! Friendly crew that are clearly foodies!
Amazing filling food that takes my fav vietnamese food whilst adding bbq flavour and they nailed my soy flat white yum yum!!! I will be back here with friends in tow. try the soup and any roll. you can’t go wrong!
We had the pleasure of trying the Vietnamese style food at East by West. The owners are very passionate about smoking their own meats as well as Vietnamese foods, so have put their own spin on some favorites including rice paper roll, noodle soups and the hot rolls (barhmi). We loved the hot rolls, the pork was perfect. We were told that the pork was smoked for 6-8 hours then braised for 12-14 hours, how can this not be good? Give them a go if you are in the area, they catering for a western palate and try one of the proud Mary coffees as well.
