I usually cross by here and grab their Baklavas. I like the smaller portion here and are $2.30 a bite. I often find Bakalavas elsewhere are cut quite large and can be overwhelming sweet! Definitely worth a try if you are a fan.

I was pleasantly surprised by this joint. I was trying to find something a bit healthy for my kiddos and on the way to Atlantic Fish and Chippery I spotted some grilled salmon on the bae marie at Moorish Table. It was 11:30am and the Atlantic opens at 12noon so its settled, I will try Moorish Table!

The salmon was quite nicely cooked and they are happy to swap the chips w tabbouleh salad. Yum. The salad was quite fresh but I reckon the parsley to cous cous/ tomato ratio was a bit off.

I like this spot for the ability to make your own salad. The ingredients taste fresh and its quite reasonably priced. Probably the healthiest thing you can find in the food court too. Ive had the kebab on a late night occasion which was also very satisfying

Pathetic food. Ordered falafel platter and cheese and spinach gozleme. The guy on the counter has a weird attitude. Definitely should not be working in hospitality industry.

Decided to grab a quick bite whilst walking around South Bank within the food court thinking the food at Moorish Table would be ideal.

Wasn’t satisfied with the dishes, sorry!! Dips and bread was probably the only dish that was ok. Was quite expensive for all dishes bought, hot chips came out quite cold had to return them to get another batch and received a spinach gozleme when we ordered spinach and cheese!!! Was quite bland.

Have a variety of salads, kebabs and platters available, though wouldn’t recommend any dishes as such.

The only redeeming thing about the place is that its kebab ingredients are good and it tastes good too.

Serving size is quite average for a kebab, but the price is $5 higher being in crown.

The line at this place is usually ridiculous waiting 10-20 to get a kebab. Honestly if I had a choice I’d take the kebabs from stores or caravans located around Melbourne over this place any day.

Unless you have an absolute craving for kebabs pick something else in the food court, it’ll be faster.

I ordered standard Chicken Kebab for lunch costing about $13.90. The quantity and taste was average. Chicken was added on top of the lettuce and thus did not blend at all inside the bread-wrap. The garlic sauce had not flavour. I also purchased 600ml bottled Water and surprised to see they charging $4.80 (crazy). I check the bill after the payment so could not return the water bottle.
