Nobu has a great reputation so I expected big things. By most standards it was fine. Service was a bit stilted and at times pretentious.
Too much fuss and confusion- not at all warm or welcoming.
Servers didnt seem to know who was going what. Communication not the best as meals came at random times and twice we had to ask for the dishes wed ordered.
The food was good, portions huge because although we ordered for 4 they brought servings for 6 (two children aged 4 & 2 dont eat much).
The tempura vegetables were cut into huge unappetising chunks and they were undercooked- awful.
Good restaurants can have bad days- this was just that.
They rely on the location and one time tourist visitors – we are locals- we wont go back.
Oh and worst of all- a dog sitting on the bench seat beside me…. not on.

I ordered the deluxe bento box during lunch service and it was great value for money. Lots of variety and delicious. The wagyu beef was slightly chewy but that was the only negative. I had the apchee mocktail, it was nice and tangy! Highly recommended

Its not often that I get to go fine dining in crown, so when my friend suggested to come here for a birthday celebration, I could barely contain my excitement.

From the moment we stepped foot into the restaurant, the welcome was warm. Having heard about the spectacular food and dining experience my colleague previously had at this restaurant, my friends and I didnt hold back with the food and pretty much ordered everything the waitress recommended. She was extremely attentive, and we found the service struck the perfect balance of formality and friendliness.
To start our feast, we ordered the baby spinach salad with dry miso- something slightly unusual and simple, but was very effective in terms of taste. For someone that doesnt tend to go for salads, I found this dish quite light and tasty- works as great starter dish!
One of the highlights of the night, the Nobu style wagyu tacos. Couldnt get any more perfect, the meat was tender and juicy and combined with the crunchy taco shell, that one whole bite of the taco was just everything that I had hoped for. The same went for all the other meat dishes we ordered, including the salt stone wagyu beef which was so tender and juicy.
The baby tiger prawn tempura dish was delightful! Nothing too special, but the crunchy batter and delicious creamy spicy sauce definitely won me over.
Not to mention, the desserts we ordered were presented so beautifully- with each element placed delicately on the plate, it was the best way to end our 10/10 dining experience at Nobu!

We came here for a special occasion and enjoyed the variety of food textures and taste. We ordered the signature as well as the deluxe bento box which allowed us to try the different specialities and are good value for money. We enjoyed the black cod miso and wagyu beef which are a must try! The Alaskan crab tempura was good but after a while, the batter felt overwhelming. The tuna, lobster, and snowcrab tacos were not memorable. We also got the unagi roll which was freshly made and enjoyable. To end it, we got the cappuccino whisky dessert which had interesting layers of cream, cinnamon, and gelato but was not spectacular.

Recommended for trying their bento box! And worth for your $$$, as you can try their signature dishes in one box with value money between $50-70 per person anyway days during lunch time (including sat & sun) but make sure you do booking or reservations.

I have try the dinner as well, more likely for dinner menu are individual plate menu, which end up cost me around $200 ish per person.

But if you want to try for your birthday occasion, anniversary with the love one, the lunch bento box is fun and dlish, price only up to $70 for their bento box.
