This is more of a 3.5 stars. Came here for some good old pub food. We sat at the quieter dining section which was more pleasant than the pub section. The pub section had a nice, traditional British/Irish pub decor though, which offered some cosy nooks and a nice ambience.
The food was average but not outstanding. The seafood chowder we ordered was more soupy than creamy, and not really our fancy. Also, the prawns being completely unpeeled made it a hassle to eat in the soup. The calamari was decent and the burger was mediocre.
Service was warm and friendly though. We’ll consider this pub again if we’re in the mood for pub food but the food we had wasn’t spectacular enough to tempt us to return as yet.
The fish and chips were so salty as well as the creamy potato mash. There is a section for sit down food and a section for drinks and bar so you can choose if you like it quiet or noisy. Service was very slow when i went as only one person serving the place.
