On my mission to eat at all the restaurants in Crown Casino – The Atlantic hasnt appeared high up on my to-do list, but after seeing all that fresh seafood in their windows I knew I couldnt put it off!
Service throughout the night was pleasant, detailed yet unobtrusive; which is what you typically expect from a higher end establishment. The seafood was fresh and delicious, but you definitely pay for it! Dinner started with freshly shucked oysters and grilled octopus. The octopus was amazing and melted in your mouth!
For mains, we had the Moreton bay bug spaghetti (lip-smacking goodness) and hubby had the roasted snapper. To top it all off (and making us extremely stuffed) we also had a bite of the miso garlic eggplant (very umami tasting)
to polish off our meal.
Perfect meal for a special occasion or to spend with a loved one. Will definitely be back to sample more of their menu.

The Atlanric is a fancy seafood restaurant located in Crown casino. For entree, we had the raw pink snapper, pan fried scallop and split grill prawns. They were fabulous, definitely one of the best seafood we have had. For mains, we had the bay bug spaghetti and grilled hiramasa kingfish. The were unfortunately pretty average, considering you around $50 for each main dish. There was only couple small pieces of the kingfish, which was quite disappointing.
The staff was not attentive at all, we didnt get the menu when we arrived. After the main, we asked for the dessert menu, which we did not get, so we decided to leave. There was also some dust in my water.
Went last night for a friends Hens night. Absolutely loved the ambiance and atmosphere. Could not fault the food. Service was also very good. The few things that we werent impressed with as a whole was, surcharge was $70, we had set menu, no one really understood why we were hit with this. Secondly we were asked if we wanted still or sparkling water and then it was poured from a large bottle throughout night assuming that were were wanting it all night and then to be hit with a further $80 just for water! I was shocked to be quite honest. I think staff should still ask if we want a further bottle and not assume to keep opening up that many bottles without asking. It was $110 for 3 course set menu so on pricey side as mains did not come with any sides so we had to add our own. A little stingy I feel as my barramundi came on a large plate with nothing, not even a smear of mash or broccoli would have been nice.
Loved food and ambience overall but be prepared for the bill. Very expensive in my opinion.
