Deserved a 4.5 but lost a half due to a little slow on the drinks. Service was good though they just seemed under staffed but being a public holiday they probably were by design. Started off with the rib platter which had a mix of beef, pork and lamb, all of which I thought were exceptional. Had the 400g grass fed rib eye on the bone which was cooked to absolute perfection and was accompanied by a delicious and decent size side of mash. Great feed.
A few of us had the ribs and steak here but both weren’t very good. The steak was quite dry even though I ordered it medium rare, and the ribs didn’t have much meat on it. Considering the price and the fact that their speciality is supposedly their meats, I wasn’t impressed.
There are better places for steak and ribs around in my opinion.
Been here a few times and it has been very consistent. They really do excel in quality meat and wine, obviously. Had various types of steaks and they are generally really good. Garlic bread came with manchego cheese on top. The Portuguese chicken is also really nice.
