Great drinks and great atmosphere. The waterslide bar is a venue frequented by my work colleagues and I on a Friday night and we have always had s good time here, the staff are friendly and the cocktails are delicious…the only criticism I could give would be that the small food plates they offer aren’t very tasty.
What a sweet little spot. Serving up complimentary popcorn alongside phenomenal cocktails (I recommend the Watermelon Southside) how can you go wrong? This is one of my favourite watering holes. It’s sophisticated with dim lighting, beautiful mirroring and tones of gold complimenting the dark timber. You can occupy one of the little lounge nooks for complete intimacy and I love the history behind the concept. The space that the bar occupies was formerly a circus complete with a giant waterslide which was taller than all the city buildings at that time in the 1800’s and hence the name. The seating reflects this bygone era too with rocking chairs and swing seats. Staff are clad elegantly in bow ties and delightful to deal with. The balcony area overlooking the water is beautiful too and a great spot to sit and watch the world go by. A really unique place for a drink or two

Great venue in a fantastic location. Staff are friendly and helpful and not pretentious like other city bars. The food is typical bar style snack menu and really good. Also good cocktail and wine options. The balcony has river views and there are cosy corners inside for a drink on a colder night. Still fairly quite as it’s new but i expect this place will get really popular when word gets around.

Food was delicious and service was friendly & efficient. And the drinks… Try the Grace Kelly served in a tea cup with a slice of lemon or the white Negroni served with a ball of ice – novel, tasty and most enjoyable!
