Ben Tanh Hot Bread and Bakery was the 7th and final stop on our Springvale blitz. By now we had been to:
1.Pho Hung
2.Golden Lake Cake and Roast
3.Minh Duc Bakery
4.Kung Fu Tea
5.Rainbow Coffee
6.Golden Chopstix
Hidden in a dark corner of the Springvale Shopping Centre is this perpetually busy place that sells Banh Mi (they make a mean Cold Ham Banh Mi) and various Vietnamese sweet goodies. Having already filled our tummies with other food, we decided to just purchase a couple of items. So we bought the fried banana fritter (the banana was not sweet but slightly sour – just like the real thing from South East Asia) and honeycomb cake (springy and delectable).
What a great way to end our little journey in Springvale!
