I was shopping at ikea and seriously needed a caffeine hit. I was attracted to the beautiful interiors and the look of the place. Having high expectations I came in for a takeaway coffee. At $4 for a small and $5 for a medium I am expecting some good coffee. Unfortunately it was quite average to me. I couldve gotten it at other places for a lot less.
So to be fair the rating is based on two things:
– value for money – not there. Overly priced for coffee and also wait time. It took over 15 minutes wait for coffee as they only had one barista on and the other waitress were not helping her take the coffee out.
Will not be back and dont recommend this place.

The staff were friendly, the area is spacious with nice decor and nice atmosphere. There is an outdoor area which would have been nice today in the sun.
We had the chef special, a lemon and herb chicken salad and the schnitzel. Both dishes were very good.
The restaurant was pretty spacious and great to have meeting as it is located close to the office buildings in Springvale. The interior design was pretty good, clean and had an open space. The customer service was pretty good and friendly.
We ordered Panko Crumbed Buttermilk Chicken Schnitzel (Apple Fennel, Slaw, Steak Fries and Mayo) for $18.50. The menu title was really appealing however, the taste was pretty disappointing. The chicken schnitzel was over-cooked, burnt and had no taste. The fries were pretty soggy and the salad wasn’t fresh. To be honest, we would expect a decent quality of food for this value of money as it looked like $7.00 – $8.00 meal for this quality.
I hope they will work on their food quality and improvement the next time we’re visiting this restaurant again; For now, I reckon the chefs had a bad day on that day when we came to order the food as we couldn’t judge from one food as I could see that this restaurant have a potential to be better.

Have been a few times. They have changed the menu. I really enjoyed the corn & zucchini fritters with poached eggs & goats cheese curd, it had flavour and was a generous size. There always seems to be a long line of people waiting to order, it can be a bit tedious. Perhaps a separate counter for coffee would be a good idea. A few things were a bit grubby today (glasses, forks, the menu & the table). Overall all though, the food is tasty and the service is friendly.

Have eaten here in the past and enjoyed the food, however, today was terrible. Cappuccino was very milky andnot much coffee flavour. I had Chicken Snitzel with fries and apple and fennel slaw. Chicken was so thin and overcooked I could not cut it with a knife. So dry. Slaw and chips ordinary. My partner had the beef burger with fries. For $19 he said it was only worth $5. Very ordinary. We will not be back. So disappointed.
This place is atrocious. Ordered the vanilla slice and it came out dry as. The sides were cracking from the dryness and certainly not fresh. Returned it for another fresher cake. The coffee was disappointing as you can’t order a quick take away coffee without having to wait for everyone else to order their meals etc and take away coffees aren’t given preference. YOU HAVE TO WAIT WHILE ALL THE ORDERS AND SIT DOWNS ARE MADE FIRST! ha. won’t be back. This place is only busy as there is nothing else there to get food from. You are better off going upstairs to get a coffee and a bite to eat or a cake. I found this place afterwards. It is much quicker and the service was much more friendly. Seriously, they need more coffee/caf type shops in this homemaker centre!
