  Very very bad service
  -was very busy and crowded
  -ordered spring rolls as starters and a few main dishes; spring rolls were served then we waited an hour until we decided to leave.
  Staff obviously forgot about our order; staff were preoccupied with a birthday function if they were that busy they should not have been taking customers and kept us waiting an hour!

  I’m here just for the pho although pho is only a small line item on their menu. I asked for their special beef and it smelt great when it arrived to my table.
  * Broth – powerful, soon powerful became overly salty. Lose a lot of the salt and they’d have something pretty decent.
  * Noodles – they were okay, not as silky and long as the top pho joints.
  * Meat – nice beefy brisket, one of the tendon pieces I had was really rubbery. The sliced beef was nothing to write home about, overcooked and not sliced thin enough. Preferably raw to highlight the quality of the meat.
  * Condiments – your usual fare, didn’t see any pickled onions.
  * Value for money – okay, I walked out satisfied (volume wise, not satisfaction) but not stuffed. There’s other places in central Springvale where you’d be happier with quality and quantity.

  This joint is great if you were after a place to catch up in terms of seating (indoor and plenty outdoors) away from Springvale central so less busy.
  I’ve come here once before, food took a long time to come and I thought average of the food we had but I decided to try some different dishes this time. I had sliced beef pho and felt the soup wasn’t very tasty, noodles were thicker than ideal and there was not enough meat. It doesn’t beat what you can get from Springvale central. The prawn springrolls were nothing great either. Rather than great tasting food, you would come here for an average meal.

  We spent nearly $80 for cold food and to be swore at and hung up on.

  Last night just after 9pm we placed our order on Menulog. The delivery was suppose to arrive at 10:05pm
  10:15pm came and we havent received our order so we call to check on it. We were advised the delivery driver left at 9:45pm and was on his way.
  10:35pm we call again and as I am on the phone the driver pulls up.
  10:40pm I get a call from a mobile number asking if we received the food. I replied yes but it is cold. The man on the phone said I shouldve given it back to the delivery driver however I explained that it was a bit hard to check the food in the middle of the street. The man on the phone insisted the food isnt cold and accuses me of lying because the food was in some sort of hot box?! Keep in mind the food was in the car for 50minutes and who knows if it had left the restaurant straight away. I told him repeatedly that Im touching it and its cold, his reply was I shouldve given it back to the driver so I told him to send him back to get it. He then told me I have to pay for his driver to come back!
  The man on the phone kept angrily talking over me and not listening to a word I was trying to say, by this point I had to tell him quite firmly to listen because it was now 10:45pm we are starving and we now need to organise dinner elsewhere and that I would contact menulog and write a review. This is where he went over and above to call me a b**** and said he didnt want a b**** customer like me and hung up.

  I called him back and said how dare he speak to me like that after he served us his customer cold food. He then came back with f*** you s*** and hung up.

  Lets hope the man on the phone wasnt the owner because this type of customer service is an absolute disgrace.

  Not one apology for serving us cold food or any resolution given. Just abuse.

  A refund is the least I expect from this unprofessional business, a proper apology from the man on the phone for his disgusting verbal abuse is what is expected.

  Highly recommend this restaurant. The service was outstanding, we got there 10 minutes before closing and the manager kindly let us in and enjoy the delicious pho they offer.
