This place sells a wide range of roast meat, pastries and desserts. The service is okay and orderes a pork jerky that was glazed, sweet and tender with the sides slightly charred. Decent priced.
Our Springvale blitz (Part 2 of 7) continued after we walked out of Pho Hung. We headed straight ahead to Golden Lake in Springvale Central (the newer outlet, the original shop remains at Springvale shopping centre).
This is where we come for the various Asian pastries. They have great chicken pies and pate chaud. The crusts are sweet, buttery and will lift your mood. The fillings are savoury and moorish. We occasionally get their roast meats as well but it’s their pastries that we dream about at night.
Time for a Banh Mi fix at Minh Duc bakery for part 3 of our Springvale adventure!
